Hi everyone, I'm S. A Holmes. I'm an attorney and author with a passion for speculative fiction. This is my space to share that passion with you.

Lawyers might not be the first profession you think of when you imagine sci-fi and fantasy. But my mind has always been filled with stories I wanted to read. So, I did it; I drafted my first novel, The Paladin's Promise, a fantasy adventure. It's in the long process of publishing. Currently, I'm working on a sci-fi thriller entitled The Skeptic.

I hope to entertain you here with a mix of writing insights, discussions about the latest Fantasy/SFF releases (and thoughts on the classics), and maybe even some lawyerly humor (and no, that wasn't a joke). No matter what, it'll be unapologetic geekery. I promise to bring humor, honesty, and a genuine love for all things fantastical. This is a journey of discovery, and I'm excited to share it with you.
